Founded in 2001 with one boat and a small crew, Ocean Fresh now catches, processes and exports premium Yellowfin Tuna.
Our story
25 years in Maldivian fisheries
We started with a single boat. Today we run long-line and hand-line vessels, cargo ships, fuel barges, a modern ice plant and our own processing factory.
We were the first company in the Maldives to establish an EU-standard approved floating fish processing factory (MDV-012). It sits next to Velana International Airport, so fish can be offloaded, processed and flown out quickly.

We buy from local Maldivian fishermen, follow strict food safety and traceability rules, and work to limit our impact on the ocean.
